Michael Ivy II 3931988 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am currently at Army AIT and I have less than 180 days of Active Duty Service. If I get chaptered out of the Army under Chapter 11, than I know that I have to wait 90 days until I can reenlist, because it&#39;s marked under ELS and it&#39;s uncategorized. My question is that for the reenlistment code, would be marked as a 1 or if it is uncategorized than would it still allow me to reenlist in &quot;ANY&quot; branch of military after 90 days? What is the Reenlistment code for APFT marked as ELS and can you reenlist in any military branch? 2018-09-02T18:50:04-04:00 Michael Ivy II 3931988 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am currently at Army AIT and I have less than 180 days of Active Duty Service. What even have you failed or are in danger of failing? The best course of action is to not fail the APFT. If you do get out, what makes you think that you would be able to pass the APFT to get back in? If you can&#39;t make it through school in the branch that takes everyone, it&#39;s a red flag to all the other branches that you are a bad investment to them.<br />If you search through the site you&#39;ll see questions from other entry level separation people who are now unable to get back into any branch. Your commander can still separate you under any applicable chapter. He could choose to separate you for APFT failure and give you a General Under Honorable discharge characterization. You&#39;re not out of the Army yet, so all hope isn&#39;t gone. It is going to be much easier for you to pass your pt test than it will be to get out and get back in.
