What is the proper fleece cap to wear with OCP ACUs? I just grabbed the fleece and want to be right before I don the cap. Is the brown USMC?

I have the black already and I know the headgear is not interchangeable between uniform camoflage types. I think the confusion I (and a few others) have is that DA PAM 670-1 4-10.c refers to the "foliage green" and transition to "black" NLT 1 October 2017. I know there is a coyote brown as I found one randomly at the MCSS, so I grabbed it, but no one is truly certain. The black cap would seem to be a poor match to a heavily coyote brown uniform. I appreciate whatever you all have learned.

The coyote tan one is the correct one for the OCP uniforms. However, to be honest I am not sure if that is the same one that is authorized with the new Army PT uniform.

Should be be the tan but I think you can mix until the actual cut off date of mixing multicam w OCP is done. I will have to look this up myself because I'm curious.

I was issued a black fleece cap with my black and gold PT uniform and have worn the black fleece cap with my OCP's. I was issued my OCP's in January 2016.

The black fleece as well as the green is the correct worn cap. The brown is an unofficial deployment cap

When in doubt go black I'd say, the only authorized additions to the uniform are either acu/ocp or black so black is the safe bet.

SFC Private RallyPoint Member I fail to see the confusion when the reg clearly says that the only 2 fleece caps authorized are green and black, and like you mentioned before, green only until 30 September 2017

The Coyote fleece cap is not authorized with any Army Uniform. It belongs to USMC for there uniforms. As of right now the black fleece cap is the only fleece cap authorized to wear.
