What is the process timeline for commissioning in the AMEDD? What insight can you provide on DCC and BOLC? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-is-the-process-timeline-for-commissioning-in-the-amedd-what-insight-can-you-provide-on-dcc-and-bolc

I'm a civilian with a bachelor's in nutrition, aiming to enter as a 65C- reserves more than likely. I'm looking further into the future like 2 or 3 years because I still need to do my dietetic internship (probably a masters too),pass the exam, and get my citizenship (already submitted just playing the waiting game now) but I'm curious on what the process of commissioning looks like in terms of a timeline. Bonus if anybody can give their insight on DCC and BOLC too! Thu, 29 Aug 2019 17:11:06 -0400 What is the process timeline for commissioning in the AMEDD? They have an dietetic internship/Master's program, then when you are done you will owe some time to the Army. Contact an Army Healthcare recruiter so they can give you more information. You can send me message a too, if you prefer so. 1LT Private RallyPoint Member Thu, 29 Aug 2019 17:21:07 -0400 2019-08-29T17:21:07-04:00 Response by LTC Jason Mackay made Aug 29 at 2019 10:20 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-is-the-process-timeline-for-commissioning-in-the-amedd-what-insight-can-you-provide-on-dcc-and-bolc?n=4971229&urlhash=4971229

This is the third most asked question on RP, you may want to put medical direct commission in the search box.

1. Can I reenlist with and RE Code of 3/4? what are my chances?
2 how do I get a Warrant Officer interview when there are no warrants in my unit OR how do I put together a warrant packet?

Here is a search outcome: https://www.rallypoint.com/search?keyword=Direct+commission&latitude=&location=&longitude=&search_type=answers&sort_by=

Also, click on the tag for the MOS and it will take you to other information and people. It's so small, I'd contact people directly on here.

Get linked up with a MEDICAL recruiter, not your normal area recruiter. Once you submit your officers packet for commission and get accepted than you go to DCC and BOLC have three years on the army reserve side to complete the officer training after commission date SSG(P) Private RallyPoint Member Mon, 02 Sep 2019 13:07:44 -0400 2019-09-02T13:07:44-04:00 Response by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 6 at 2019 2:07 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-is-the-process-timeline-for-commissioning-in-the-amedd-what-insight-can-you-provide-on-dcc-and-bolc?n=5096550&urlhash=5096550

Hey Rose Sananikone Great questions!
