She wants to return to active duty, her evaluation to either remain or be removed from the TDRL is due soon. We are wondering what the process would be if she was found fit to return to duty.<br /><br />What are the big factors in being considered fit for duty?<br />Do you have to be in HW standards that day?<br />Do you get to choose your MOS or is it needs of the Army?<br />How long would it take before she is required to physically leave for re training?<br /><br />Thank you in advance for any responses. <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Ok, so lets unwrap this.<br />Was she placed within a Soldier Recovery Unit, formally the WTU?<br />Will she still require care for the issue that retired her?<br />Did she receive a VA disability rating above 60%?<br /><br />In being considered fit for duty, she must be cleared of the condition that retired her i.e. she cannot return to active duty if she will require a permanent profile.<br />Yes to HW<br />It depends on her break in service and the needs to the prior MOS and current Army strengths (Remember, Army is currently in a draw down since we left Afghanistan so MEPCOM and MEDCOM may be a little hesitant to allow her to re-enlist)<br />Nobody can answer the last question besides MEPS and a recruiter.
