What is the process for using the SMAPP program to reclassify to 25D or 25E?

Hello I have almost 12 years in so i'm about to miss the window for the 25E spot. I'm tryng to do the full 20 years, but i'm coming up on RCP soon, so this program is essentially my last shot at staying in. I just want to know the process for this program. I have been looking into the 25D so i am currently trying to get the clearance for it, but i'm not sure if it will be accepted due to the 4 years IT requirement.

You "could" be accepted without the four years of IT but you'd still need all the IT certs first, which you're not likely to get soon.

You can contact the 25E and request a TIS waiver for the 12 years and then request 25E
Youll also need to request an RCP ETP, that will need to be routed through your O6 for endorsement.

If you're not able to get that, try requesting your unit to pay for TDY and Return for 92F or 88M. They almost always have classes and you can reasonably expect to make SSG in them if you're hustling. Most importantly, if you're a 91E, you're definitely in a unit that has or needs those MOS's.
