I'm most of the way through a private pilots licence but I wear glasses for far away, my vision is pretty bad to be honest. Is there a minnimum eyesight for it to work? And how much does it cost? I havent been able to find any offical information. What is the process for getting PRK in the Reserves? 2018-07-06T23:00:59-04:00 PFC Private RallyPoint Member 3772691

I'm currently pre-basic and going into the reserves durring college and wanting to put in a flight warrent packet to go active. Better results and vision. I did mine over 15 years ago and I am still seeing 20/15 in one eye and 20/20 in the other. Most folks for it themselves. The cost varies by region, but $2500 is an average price.

Generally, there is a waiting period between the surgery and application. I am not sure what the waiting period is for the Army. But generally it’s at least a year. Response by SMSgt Thor Merich made Jul 7 at 2018 1:12 AM 2018-07-07T01:12:43-04:00 2018-07-07T01:12:43-04:00 2018-07-06T23:00:59-04:00
