The oldest I have thus far is an 1881 in very fine #2 condition. I have pennies, nickels, dimes,quarters halves and dollars, including the entire statehood quarters, P & D mints. I started with U.S. statehood quarters, went into cents, then went into foreign. I used to collect by set, but now I just try to get different foreign designs. I like the variety of patterns and researching the iconography. My oldest coin is an antoninianus from the Gallic Empire, dated to circa 274 AD.
