What is the most random "Name" encounter you have had with a service member, some of us have some really intriguing names!

I was at an appointment here at the Great Place and I caught a glimpse of this soldiers name tag. It said "Army". I followed him into the waiting area just to be sure it wasnt his name tapes on backwards. As I stepped in, a nurse called his wifes name. Sure enough this just soldified that this is the most "Hooah" soldier I have ever met. This is simply based off the fact that he is refered to as: Specialist Army.

At WLC, I had to do a double-take on a guy with the name "Deth." There he was, at first a rumor and now fully realized in my eyes: SGT Deth.

SGT Hiscock. Not making it up. She has a different name now and is a SFC...hell...I would have gotten married to anyone just to get rid of that name

When I was stationed at Fort Bliss I remember running by some unit and the CO was BG Dragon. I also remember when I went to the MRT course there was a SFC Vader. But my favorite was this dude downrange, his last name was Rambo, and of course his first name was John and his middle initial was J.

In Basic I had a DS whose first name was "Major". I overheard him calling someone one day and when they answered he said "This is Sergeant Major Paez..." I wish I had a name lightest so I could get things done in a timely manner.

In my first unit we had a SPC Allgood and to him, it was All Good on everything he did and will do. We also had SGT Lord and PFC Christ in the same unit together.

I worked with a guy named Sargent. He said when he was in basic training they called him PVT Private.

while in the Air Force Reserves our Red Horse Squadron's commander's name was LTC Klink and the 1SG's name was MSGT Shultz. that is for those of you who remember Hogan's Heroes

So there I was. Newly assigned to Ft Irwin, CA. Standing outside of the buildings that we had to in-process in. I was done and was outside havin a smoke whilst waiting for the others I was with. When, lo and behold, up comes this SGT walking with some other Soldiers, and we both did the lean forward and squint the eyes at each other. Turns out, we both shared the same last name. With the exception of my ex-wife, I had never met anyone in the Army with the surname of Livingston. So, we stood there for about 20 mikes conversing. Turns out, we hailed from the same regions in the mid-west. Still not sure if we were related or not.
