Saw the podiatrist today, and they said I have early onset arthritis, and may need reconstruction surgery depending on severity. (Waiting on MRI). What would the process be like? Would they extend my contract until the board is complete? What is the MEB process be like? Would they extend my contract (I'm 120 days from ETS) until the board is complete? 2018-04-02T19:48:09-04:00 SPC Private RallyPoint Member 3506770 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I finally got a chance to have my ankle looked at. You should not ETS while you are undergoing treatment, because it will be months or longer until the VA will do anything and you will be out of luck in the meantime. There are ways to get you extended. Use your NCO Support Channel to get answers and talk to whoever you need to in order to get the care you need.
