What is the fastest way to get a Code 9D flag removed so that I can rejoin?

Sitting in irr, was approached by two army career councilors. Gave me the offer of going from 92a to a 31B. Got all excited and motovated then they called said i have a 9D code. Already filled out the online form for a foia. They said this could be a long process.

Any suggestions would be thankful

It means you are pending Security Clearance.
Do you have anything on your record? UCMJ or Civilian?

There's next to nothing you can do to speed up a determination. Just make sure a memo for adjudication has been submitted and all you can do is wait

Waivers are waivers- it depends on how high it has to go, the reason for the code in the 1st place, and how hard they want to get it done.
