When I ETSed back in 2004 I was missing a form with a signature on it. I was supposed to ETS on June 19th. So a week later I finally ETSed.Response by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 3 at 2017 9:47 PM2017-12-03T21:47:30-05:002017-12-03T21:47:30-05:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member3142153<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Hey, I know someone who recently went through this which I can help you with. You can eat because nobody can stop your from ETSing. Not, your Commader, 1SG or anyone unless you are pending a court martial or under investigation. However, you will not get your DD 214 of you don't clear or have all your paperwork taken care of. Trust me the DD 214 is the most important of your career. It is the key to all.of your veteran benefits. You can ask any veteran or retired about it. I hope this help.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 4 at 2017 1:04 AM2017-12-04T01:04:41-05:002017-12-04T01:04:41-05:00SPC Mark Brummer3144362<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Thanks for the input everyone. I exchanged a couple texts with him today and he says, “It’s a finance memo that I have to get briefed on and counseled on”. I remember when I ETS’d in 88, we were given a master checklist of every place we had to go and every form that needed to be filled out and/or signed. It seemed to prevent surprises like this.Response by SPC Mark Brummer made Dec 4 at 2017 6:28 PM2017-12-04T18:28:15-05:002017-12-04T18:28:15-05:002017-12-03T21:14:02-05:00
