What is the best way to get in contact with a CW3 or above?

I have already started my 153A Warrant Officer packet. However, I have no warrant officers in my unit due to it being a medical unit and I was wondering what the best way to get in contact with a CW3 or above, or any warrant officer in the aviation field. I would like to pick the brain of someone in the field and hopefully get some questioned answered that my medical team can't answer for me.

Go to the airfield on your duty station or the nearest duty station.

Are there any Aviation units near to where you are stationed?

You have two options, the first one is already taken care of, you already took the initiative to post on here, where there are a lot of current and past CWO from the aviation side that will be more then willing to assist you. Second, locate the closest army aviation unit to you and do the footwork, everyone is approachable as long as you maintain professinalism, customs and courtesy’s. Good luck!

I’ll check with some people out at Savannah, let me know how far you are with completing your packet. A person doing LORs is going to want to see a near complete packet before conducting an interview.

Find out where there is a formation, wait 45 minutes after that formation is over and you will find a warrant. Just kidding.

SPC Private RallyPoint Member I see you are stationed at Ft Gordon. The nearest Army Airfield to you is Hunter AAF in Savannah. I would take a trip to Hunter and go to flightline. Ask around, look for the flight companies and there you shall find a CW3 or higher. Introduce yourself and go from there. Prior to making this trip I would ensure my packet is as complete as possible (Meaning board ready) if not you may get turned away. Let me know if I can help in any other way.
