Drill Sgt school would most likely look good for a recruiter slot or a slot in RSP since they have Drills there.

You could also look to see if your state is or will be looking to bring soldiers onto ADOS orders assisting recruiters. Will buff up your resume, help you network, but most importantly learn.Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Sep 22 at 2018 9:47 PM2018-09-22T21:47:13-04:002018-09-22T21:47:13-04:00SGM Private RallyPoint Member3989017

Drill SGT school only makes you competitive for the RSP 00F positions. Those jobs are best left to AGRs that already have Readiness NCO experience. To get on AGR you can apply for any AGR position that your state posts for statewide or nationwide hire, which means whatever that MOS is, you have a year to get that MOS once hired.
Your best bet is to already be 42A, 92Y, or whatever MOS has the most units in your state. You can also apply for any ADOS or tech job at your JFHQ, to get G1, G3 or G4 experience, that makes you more competitive when you apply for an AGR position.
You can also get with your unit, get systems access now, and volunteer to burn your 18 or 36 RMPs to come in on duty days and help out with Readiness, Training or Supply, to gain some valuable experience and perspective on AGRs.
Your state ARNG should have a website where they post AGR, ADOS and tech openings, along with instructions for how to apply.Response by SGM Private RallyPoint Member made Sep 23 at 2018 8:05 PM2018-09-23T20:05:43-04:002018-09-23T20:05:43-04:002018-09-21T22:55:12-04:00
