What is the best source to use when looking for military friends? Especially female who may have married.

Facebook is also really good. In my experience, lots of women post their pre-marriage names as well as their married names, just so people can find them...

I think this might be it. Many female military personnel have at least retained some part of their unmarried name.

If you consult the VFW and American Legion chances are you can get someone who knows about where they are or can locate someone who can find them. Service organizations are the best for supporting troops after active duty enlistment ends.
