What is the best movie ever made?

Time to dust out the old DVD (and VHS) library. Hard choice but as the Highlander movie has quoted, "There can be only ONE!". I have always been a SCARFACE face. Which movie is your choice?

Very, very hard to pick one... but, the winner is "Goodfellas" for me.

Had to choose it from The Godfather, Braveheart, Dances With Wolves, The Patriot, Legends of the Fall, and Patton.

I prefer TV shows to movies these days (more time to develop plots and characters). But I'll go with my old favorite from the old days.

I would have to go with Star Wars IV: A New Hope, not the remake mind you, but the first one that was released in 1977. This movie is not only great, but it paved the way for future films in the aspects of special effects thanks to Lucas' ILM studios.

This is really tough. For a "serious" movie, Memento is probablly my favorite.

All around entertaining movie is Holy Grail.

It is very hard to choose just one movie as my favorite. I find it hard to pick a favorite for each genre really. But if forced to choose I would go with Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back. It was the best of the original trilogy and the best of the current six so far...

I don't know about "best" but to me Braveheart never gets old. It's certainly one of my favorites.
