I am getting close to my reenlistment window opening up and am trying to decide whether to get out or stay in. I came into the military thinking that I would definitely stay in longer than one contract, but am having difficulty finding the motivation. My section that I am in, is filled with every one of the junior enlisted soldiers counting down the days to their ETS. Any advice on the best way to stay motivated, despite nearly constant smart remarks about have stupid it is to stay in?

So far I can only see an external factor that's weighing you down. You have to choose what your path will be and work hard to make it a great decision. Too many blame everything else. You need to be your own best cheerleader and push on if it's important to you.
Also consider the source: soldiers who have given up on themselves. Are you going to let them determine how you feel about yourself and affect your future?
One benefit of the military is changing up your environment somewhat regularly. Set a goal of where you want to be 1-2 years from now and wake up every day headed that way. Many get discouraged because they can't see what they can do or be.
Good luck.
