It asks for a font and Franklin Gothic Condensed which is the one by regulation is not an option there. What is the Army name tape font? And what option do I choose on The Exchange web site?2015-09-15T18:25:40-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member968024<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Does anyone know or have ordered nametapes using The Exchange website? The only thing I can think is that this is an order form for tags to be put on bags, not for uniforms?<br /><br />Checking the Navy one now to see if there is something similar.Response by LCDR Private RallyPoint Member made Sep 15 at 2015 6:32 PM2015-09-15T18:32:37-04:002015-09-15T18:32:37-04:00MSG Private RallyPoint Member968043<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Well, in that case, better hit up the Clothing and Sales store on base.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Sep 15 at 2015 6:32 PM2015-09-15T18:32:59-04:002015-09-15T18:32:59-04:00SrA Matthew Knight969018<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Check some other websites, there are plenty of unofficial sites that make correct nametapes. Otherwise if it lets you view the font examples go with what matches most.<br /><br />I honestly didn't know there was any other font types for nametapes. I know the AF has block and rounded letters but I don't think you can order the rounded anymore. Otherwise I thought all branches had the block style letters.Response by SrA Matthew Knight made Sep 16 at 2015 2:48 AM2015-09-16T02:48:11-04:002015-09-16T02:48:11-04:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member1684413<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Should've just used a site like Mutiny or General Jacksons.Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 3 at 2016 2:07 AM2016-07-03T02:07:19-04:002016-07-03T02:07:19-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member7407525<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Government block font is technically he only authorized font for the Army. Even clothing and sales confirmed it with me when I was at Fort Hood. Drives me insane too seeing two different fonts on two different nametapes on a top.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 6 at 2021 1:35 PM2021-12-06T13:35:30-05:002021-12-06T13:35:30-05:002015-09-15T18:25:40-04:00
