God only knows what kind of ROE/EOF is being designed for this. God only knows what kind of scrambled plans are now being devised. I don't envy the Leaders on site. And my heart really goes out to the Joes on the walls and at the wire

I don't know. It's a terrible problem. I think it will be "Get the hell out and pretend anyone left behind wanted to stay there." Because what else can we do at this point without starting the war all over again against opponents who are much more heavily armed than before?

Biden's leadership has put us in into a position where the Taliban hold nearly all of the cards, and reversing that would take a massive use of force that would likely cause many US and civilian casualties. All because Biden wanted to give a speech on 9/11 that he got us out of Afghanistan when none of the other presidents could.

Over the horizon capabilities, Biden has no balls, so I think graveling will be involved. He’ll need someone to blame and he’ll not acknowledge that when you talk about Taliban, Al-Qadea, ISIS. That they are all the same group. Hence the “no balls “ comment. Nothing will be done so prepare for more attacks and deaths. I sound flippant, that’s because I’m so angry, hurt and disgusted I could eat nails. This Cluster Fuck was Biden’s making. Answer the question, retake Bagram AFB and another Air Base elsewhere in the country. Get everyone out, destroy all remaining equipment left behind. Decimatethe Taliban leadership. Support the rebels in the north. Sanction Pakistan for their support of the Taliban over the past 20 years.

I saw the Presidents press interview regarding the attack. Based on what he said and what he didn't say it would seem he's looking along the lines of SF, drone, and air/naval strikes against targets at a time to be determined with the withdrawal taking precedence.

This us a complex question. I trust the onsite leadership has more situational awareness than I. If by some happenstance I was left to make decisions without input, i would; Clear the perimeter. By any means authorized, on a sliding scale proportional to resistance. Then I would seize the high ground, buildings ect... I would own the battlespace. I would seek to consolidate my strength through reinforcement and alliance with friendly locals. I would deploy reconnaissance to plot the expansion of my AO.

But then thats if I wanted to win
