SGT Private RallyPoint Member5383748<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have a question about dwell time. I can only find regs for OCONUS dwell time, but not CONUS. I was on CONUS Title 10 orders in support of OIR for 14 months and am trying to figure out what my appropriate amount of dwell time is. If anyone can provide me with a regulation or some type of Army documentation that can answer this for me, that'd be great. What is the appropriate amount of dwell time for someone who was on CONUS Title 10 orders in support of OIR for 14 months?2019-12-26T19:19:58-05:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member5383748<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have a question about dwell time. I did not waive my dwell and got orders starting 120 days after my notification and met my unit overseas.<br />Source:<br />This is the statement on the dwell waiver:<br />120 Notification: Public Law 113-66, NDAA 2014, requires the Secretary of the Army may not provide less than 120 days advance notice of an involuntary mobilization to a member of a reserve component who is not assigned to a unit or who is to be mobilized apart from their unit without the approval in writing of the Secretary of Defense. This requirement will cease to be in effect upon completion of the withdrawal of U.S. combat forces from Afghanistan. At this time NDAA 2008, section 515, 30 day notification requirement will be reinstated.<br />Individual Soldier Dwell: DoDI 1235.12, Accessing the Reserve Components, 2010, states, "No individual with less that 12 months dwell shall be mobilized unless he or she has volunteered for the mobilization."Response by LTC Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 30 at 2019 7:39 AM2019-12-30T07:39:47-05:002019-12-30T07:39:47-05:00MAJ Private RallyPoint Member6772375<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>DODI 1235.12 covers dwell for both CONUS and OCONUS. 1:4 applies to both.Response by MAJ Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 24 at 2021 9:19 AM2021-02-24T09:19:46-05:002021-02-24T09:19:46-05:002019-12-26T19:19:58-05:00
