What is the accepted standard for showing rank in member names? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-is-the-accepted-standard-for-showing-rank-in-member-names

When I filled out my profile, I didn't know my rank would become part of my member name. I posted my highest rank, but as the old saying went, "I came in an E-1, I'll go out an E-1, as long as I go out." Well, unfortunately, that's just what I did. I got busted from E-4 to E-1 for pot possession my last day in the Army. Somehow I was promoted to E-2 before I got my discharge papers. Anyway, I didn't really want to be known as Private OR Specialist Jim McClain, just Jim McClain. Since I don't have that choice, I thought I should ask what the accepted practice was.

Thanks.
