What is one thing that you want to be remembered for after you leave a unit/retire?

I want to be remembered as a caring and professional leader who always had the best interests of my soldiers and their families in mind a who always accomplished the mission. I do not think the two are mutually exclusive of each other.

I want to be remembered as leaving the unit in better condition than it was when I was assigned.

That I left the unit in much better shape than I found it in.
No other epitaph would make me prouder.

That a conducted myself in a very professional manner and did my job well.
