What is life like for a 15W MOS-T? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-is-life-like-for-a-15w-mos-t <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am a prior service 11B Infantryman. I rejoined the military (Army National Guard) as a 15W and will be heading to 15W school this year. I am curious as to what life is like for the MOS-T? I heard that you can have your car and you live with other MOS-Ts. What are the barracks like? Do you have nights and weekends like other schools? Do we PT with the TRADOC AIT soldiers or is it on our own? Do we fly or is it all sim now? Just curious what day to day life is going to be like. Thanks! I went there twice, once as a mos t single, barracks were fine. Never heard of mos t&#39;s living off post or anything like that. You live a mile or so down from the company area. I was lucky not to have a roommate. No kitchen or anything fancy. You get a fridge and a microwave. Couldn&#39;t drink IN the barracks but you could outside in the bbq areas. I was days the whole time. PT at 0430, sometimes at IET land, sometimes not. Driving is hit and miss too. Just because you been in don&#39;t make you special. Don&#39;t give the leadership a reason to treat you like you&#39;re brand new. You will live in Riley Barracks. They are decent but the showers are communal I believe. As of currently, you are not required to PT with IET soldiers due to COVID-19, however you can, should you so choose. Normally, without the Rona, you would only PT with the TRADOC soldiers during ACFTs or if you fail your ACFT. There is a night shift, but weekends are all yours. Drinking is permitted at Riley. As far as classes... They are all subject to change, because they are restructuring the curriculum to be more platform specific. But as of right now: There is a very basic USO class (4 weeks), a Unmanned ground school (4 weeks), a 5 day intro to your specific platform, then simulators (4 weeks), and then an undefined amount of time on Flight line (the real deal). Weather will dictate the length of your stay at Ft. Huachuca once you reach Flight Line. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. Myself or some of the MOS-Ts currently here will be happy to help SPC Private RallyPoint Member Tue, 12 May 2020 23:25:36 -0400 2020-05-12T23:25:36-04:00 2020-04-27T19:31:32-04:00
