They never really had anything negative to say about their jobs and we’re pretty laid back. Though I cannot comment on there day to day ops it doesn’t seem like a bad gig Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 20 at 2020 3:12 PM 2020-01-20T15:12:59-05:00 2020-01-20T15:12:59-05:00 SFC Private RallyPoint Member 5469141 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>What unit are you going to?<br />V/R SSG Mullet Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 22 at 2020 4:54 AM 2020-01-22T04:54:15-05:00 2020-01-22T04:54:15-05:00 SGT David Scafe 5750565 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I was there when then Col. Milley was in command of 2BCT! Did three tours to Iraq with the unit and kept re-enlisting to stay their! I was there for a little over 8 years! Worked with a lot of other units and no one else had the same op-tempo as the Mountain! The division is very high speed no drag!! I loved it there and believe me there is a heck of a lot more to do in the area than when I was there! But any duty station is what you make of it! My advice take any school they offer you and ask for every school at Drum! The weapons schools are great and loads of fun!!!
