What is isoprep and what is it used for?

CoC said me and other privates have to fill out our isoprep on AKO, what is it for?

I am traveling overseas to the bahamas and need to do my ISOPREP not sure where to find it? WOuld it be through AKO? Can some one with knowledge please let me know where???

It is a pre-deployment tool used in the event that you are either abducted, KIA, or just flat out vanish. It documents identifying marks, contact numbers, and address as well as a full color front and side profile picture against a white background.

Predeployment tool used to identify distinguishing marks (if any) on your body. It also has you create questions and answers to things that only you would know. This is used in case you are ever MIA, POW, etc. and are recovered. It is used to identify you, ensuring you are you. Pictures are taken of your face from the front and profile.

It's not some insidious plot. It didn't have a purpose statement similar to this?

Purpose:
Personnel Recovery preparation is required to prepare for a situation when a traveler needs to be authenticated after they have become isolated, captured, missing, or detained; whether through accident (e.g., vehicle breaks down while traveling to a location), political turmoil (e.g., riot) or criminal/terrorist action (e.g., kidnapping).
