Atmosphere of the company, is it friendly?, is there teamwork? Is the company growing and is the leadership team happy at the growth rate? Lower on the list of course is compensation and is it competitive with other firms and generally fair for my skills.

Cpl Martha Deithorn -Aside from the ethical and moral standard of an organization; I have to be rest assured that I will make more than what I did in the Army. Considering that I postured myself for advancement through both job and education standards. Bottom line, I am not mad, but slightly perplexed.

Cpl Martha Deithorn great question. The company's vision and mission statement are two things I consider. If I see myself as a team member that can contribute to their goal by relying on my 20 plus years of experience I pursue the opportunity for employment.

While many people will say benefits and pay, I think job security is very important as is the longevity of current employees. You do not want to work in an environment where people work less than a year. You also don't want to be employed in a place with no advancement opportunity.

are they veteran and rc/ng friendly, I remember after desert storm so many service members came home to no jobs, the company I work for has supported me while active reserve as well as deployed 08-09, although they don't recognize the training ie leadership they have always had my 6
