What is a CMS case with USPFO?

I have been waiting for my bonus, I've called DFAS twice & today they said there's no record of a bonus for my social security number & told me to call USPFO and file a CMS case. Can someone explain this to me please? Or help me?

Sometimes reenlistment bonuses take a while. A month at the minimum, sometimes longer. DFAS NEVER has a record of your bonus until after they've paid it, so it's always pointless to call. Never call DFAS about any bonus, they're always more clueless about your stuff than you are. Remember they're dealing with 6 different agencies, so they aren't smart on Army specific issues. Your career counselor does the CMS case if one is required.

Bonus Payments are a transaction that it is initiated by the local Finance Office through the Case Management System (CMS). You should visit the Finance Office with your enlistment contract and the certificates of completion of the training you got the bonus for.

I must add that the Career Counselor is responsible to initiate the case, if the bonus is for a reenlistment option!
