SFC Collin McMillion3732187<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have not posted anything in a very long time, but I have had enough! I look at the TV, read the paper, go on the internet, it's all the same. People just want to sit on their butts and criticize everything. Now the current trent seems to be what people are wearing! Who cares? Go to any store, mall, or shopping center and look around. You will see the greatest variations of racism, vulgarity, and just pure disgusting attire that exists. No, no, we just sit around and try to come up with the stupidest reasons to try to accuse others of what we think they think and feel. The president's wife wore the wrong coat, I'm truly glad you know the meaning, I sure don't. I wear my wheelchair every day.....is it the wrong color, wrong style, convey a racial slur? Every branch wears a different style uniform, is there a hidden meaning I don't know about? What I don't like I will vote to change next time around, not going to happen now and we all know it. What ever happened to "adapt, accept, and prevail"? I did not ask to be where I am, but, there are a lot worse things others go through a don't just sit around. I did what I had to do for my country and my right to belong here. Remember "God and Country", or maybe you just think about yourself and your ability to criticize others, at least in this great country you are allowed to do so. I am a proud American and veteran.....what are you? What has happened to pride and honor?2018-06-22T01:46:15-04:00SFC Collin McMillion3732187<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have not posted anything in a very long time, but I have had enough! You’re right about that and some aren’t ashamed to wear a label. Yet if it anything in humane. I can’t touch on that. To me there’s a line where if you are dehumanizing someone and when you are actually up front and telling them to be subservient in plain sight. You and I understand that humility is the worst thing to put on someone’s head. Especially if he or she is from the orient. To me, I go back right into the LDRSHP that was drilled since OSUT. We got too complacent that our class had to drop from Gold phase and back to Red phase.Response by SSG Waldo Yamada made Jun 22 at 2018 2:03 AM2018-06-22T02:03:08-04:002018-06-22T02:03:08-04:00SFC Collin McMillion3732220<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I don't care what branch of the service you were/are in, compared to the rest of the US and world we are still the few and the proud. Let us stand that way always together and never be tempted to be like children and bow to the peer pressure here or abroad to be drawn down to their level. Those that came before us, served and/or died made us who we are. Let us do the same for those who come after us!!!Response by SFC Collin McMillion made Jun 22 at 2018 2:52 AM2018-06-22T02:52:33-04:002018-06-22T02:52:33-04:00SSG Waldo Yamada3732294<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Thanks SFC, I really appreciate the moral support. Not a lot of headstrong individuals these days that can back up what they are talking about. I’m a fan, and have always been an fan since I joined. Even though I didn’t make it. Coming back to duty, skinny, and denying myself to go get a physical profile yet still walk to formation at 0630 only for my PSG was enough guts and glory for my PSG to let me off easy. The motivation and training all comes to self perseverance. Yet teamwork is always what being a soldier has to do. Whether tucking the tag behind the pt shirt of a battle or policing up after others to standing up to the career counsel for when a soldier doesn’t want to re-enlist. That was my personality. Yet, my own issues was the only reason why I couldn’t make the cut and military a career. That was what I was hoping for. As a retiree, I gotta let the military life go and find those who still love the outdoors. After 6 years of bouncing back of missing and wishing. I finally realized that I gotta take it easy and not have to worry about current events and keeping my head on a swivel too much.Response by SSG Waldo Yamada made Jun 22 at 2018 5:45 AM2018-06-22T05:45:31-04:002018-06-22T05:45:31-04:00SSG Waldo Yamada3732295<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>As my PSG would say...
