However, they don't have to and I have seen them just re-assign you to the shortage they want to fill, like 11B.Response by CPT Lawrence Cable made Oct 30 at 2017 11:26 AM2017-10-30T11:26:00-04:002017-10-30T11:26:00-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member3047470<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I wasn't given a choice, they called me and told me my job in a 45 second phone call.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 30 at 2017 3:07 PM2017-10-30T15:07:11-04:002017-10-30T15:07:11-04:00Sgt Wayne Wood3047472<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Combat engineer or grunt... they both take care of explosives (fingers in ears... stomp the ground)Response by Sgt Wayne Wood made Oct 30 at 2017 3:07 PM2017-10-30T15:07:54-04:002017-10-30T15:07:54-04:00PO2 Charlene Basden3199703<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It will be A OK, private. In the Navy, it is said one will become a boatswain mate. But in reality one might get chance to change occupation. I came in to be a EW, but walked out as AT. You are generally given a list of four MOS. I have seen UAV Repair (that was a big one for a while), Ammunition Specialist, Vet tech. It really depends on the flavor of the month and where they need you.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 4 at 2018 9:50 AM2018-03-04T09:50:09-05:002018-03-04T09:50:09-05:00SGM Bill Frazer3413295<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>!.
