PFC Casey Bunker 3769758 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I know I will have to pay for the missing items obviously, but will they take it out of my paycheck? Because I can&#39;t afford to pay for it all upfront. I&#39;m not missing a lot of items, but the items I am missing are really expensive. What happens when it's time to turn your gear in to CIF, and you are missing some items that you signed for? 2018-07-05T19:20:32-04:00 PFC Casey Bunker 3769758 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I know I will have to pay for the missing items obviously, but will they take it out of my paycheck? As already states, go to the surplus store and buy it cheaper. Alternatively, eBay might also help you. What kind of stuff are you missing? If you are ETSing, then id go buy everything possible from surplus stores and then see what&#39;s left. I was able to make deals for a few items and one guy gave me an extra he had no use for, so I only had to do a Statement of Charges for one or two things and I paid for it up front.<br /><br />Check with buddies; I always had a stash of extra gear for stuff anybody was missing during inspections, clearing CIF, etc. There&#39;s also surplus stores, pawn shops, eBay, etc. Especially around military posts, pawn shops usually have a decent stock of hocked TA-50.
