What happens to the people who make the cutoff for SGT but couldn't get a spot to BLC?

Due to limited spots for BLC for covid concerns, what happened to the people that make the cut off points now for SGT but couldn't get a spot to BLC before making points. Does the covid-19 ETP for promotion include the rank for SPC to SGT and fulfill the BLC requirement later on? Currently on a rotation tour. Thank you.

I want to say as a former commander, I expected all my E-5s to know as much about their soldiers and families in order to take care of them because as an E-5 you are where the rubber meets the road. I also expected the SGTs to know what their soldiers were planning for the weekend and holidays. For example you might find out a soldier has nowhere to go for Thanksgiving. Take care of the soldiers! :)

The ETP does not apply for BLC/promotion to SGT or MLC/promotion to MSG specifically because those courses are available online and in no danger of being reduced to cancelled due to COVID.

Unfortunately, you have to finish BLC before promotion. I had to wait 7 months after making the cutoff score, a month for BLC & 6 months for points to drop low enough again.
