What happens if a soldier has an APFT that expires in 24 days, but just got a temporary profile for 3 weeks saying no push-ups or sit-ups?

I have a folder who expires on his APFT in 24 days. He just got a temp profile for 3 weeks saying that he can’t do push-ups or sit-ups; what happens here? Does he take the Record APFT without those events? Does he not take the Record APFT and get flagged for no Record APFT within 1 year? He currently has an award processing and I don’t want to see him lose it.

If it has been 11 months since his last record, why the he'll wasn't he tested prior to this profile?

The soldier should be allowed the appropriate recovery time after the end of the profile, and then be rescheduled for an APFT.

There is no such thing as a flag for not having an APFT. There is a flag for failing an APFT. The Soldier simply has an APFT with a date that's over a year old. He can take a record APFT and only take the events he has no profile for. Even if he gets a 64 on his APFT that is a valid APFT.

What happens? The performs the run and performs alternate events as allowed per profile. If there is no alternate even they receive a "go" on the event. This is during the time of the profile. No, they cannot be flagged for exceeding the time ie 1 year... as that is a command function and not something the SM controls.

No flag.
If the memo said permanent; the briefing said permanent; and, the OIC/NCOIC concur that it was scheduled and briefed as a record APFT, then the scorecard was marked assessment in error, and "could" be corrected.
It shouldn't interfere with the award.

Have the soldier take the APFT with what he can do. Many units I have been will allow the soldier to take the APFT when the profile is done. This also shouldn’t affect an award for a soldier. If they were flagged for failing then yes.

Three weeks is 21 days which by my math says you have three days after his profile expire to test his/her ass and get things right.

There is no flag for not taking a apft just failing. I’d give him the time he needs to heal up to prevent re injury.
