He just got a temp profile for 3 weeks saying that he can’t do push-ups or sit-ups; what happens here? Does he take the Record APFT without those events? Does he not take the Record APFT and get flagged for no Record APFT within 1 year? He currently has an award processing and I don’t want to see him lose it.What happens if a soldier has an APFT that expires in 24 days, but just got a temporary profile for 3 weeks saying no push-ups or sit-ups?2020-03-07T14:25:47-05:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member5638560<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have a folder who expires on his APFT in 24 days. There is a flag for failing an APFT. The Soldier simply has an APFT with a date that's over a year old. He can take a record APFT and only take the events he has no profile for. Even if he gets a 64 on his APFT that is a valid APFT.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 7 at 2020 3:38 PM2020-03-07T15:38:26-05:002020-03-07T15:38:26-05:00SSG Brian G.5639086<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>What happens? The performs the run and performs alternate events as allowed per profile. If there is no alternate even they receive a "go" on the event. This is during the time of the profile. No, they cannot be flagged for exceeding the time ie 1 year... as that is a command function and not something the SM controls.Response by SSG Brian G. made Mar 7 at 2020 5:52 PM2020-03-07T17:52:05-05:002020-03-07T17:52:05-05:001SG Private RallyPoint Member5639145<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>No flag.<br />If the memo said permanent; the briefing said permanent; and, the OIC/NCOIC concur that it was scheduled and briefed as a record APFT, then the scorecard was marked assessment in error, and "could" be corrected.<br />It shouldn't interfere with the award.Response by 1SG Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 7 at 2020 6:08 PM2020-03-07T18:08:27-05:002020-03-07T18:08:27-05:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member5639312<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Have the soldier take the APFT with what he can do. Many units I have been will allow the soldier to take the APFT when the profile is done. This also shouldn’t affect an award for a soldier. If they were flagged for failing then yes.Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 7 at 2020 7:33 PM2020-03-07T19:33:29-05:002020-03-07T19:33:29-05:00CPO Robert Foster5639491<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Three weeks is 21 days which by my math says you have three days after his profile expire to test his/her ass and get things right.Response by CPO Robert Foster made Mar 7 at 2020 8:45 PM2020-03-07T20:45:36-05:002020-03-07T20:45:36-05:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member5643124<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>There is no flag for not taking a apft just failing.
