Do you have a disability benefits booklet from the VA? It should give you an idea of how to proceed. If you don't have one, you get one online from va.govResponse by CPL Crystal Pettway, MBA made Apr 17 at 2017 2:01 PM2017-04-17T14:01:29-04:002017-04-17T14:01:29-04:00MCPO Roger Collins2499971

Found this, it's a bit confusing though.

https://www.va.gov/healthbenefits/gateway/combat_vets.asp

The only real differences are the copays. You will have copays for any outpatient medication, but if you are using the mail order pharmacy with formulary or generic drugs you still won't have a copay for them. Here is a link to the current co-pay plan.

https://www.va.gov/healthbenefits/resources/publications/IB10-431_copay_requirements_at_a_glance.pdf

Also keep in mind that you are eligible for travel for any service connected disability related treatment or appointments.
