What fictional characters inspire you?

Everyone draws inspiration from somewhere: great leaders, athletes, celebrities, politicians, family, fictional characters, etc.. Who inspires you and why?

I'll be the first geek to respond that many characters from the various Dungeons & Dragons storylines have inspired me as a boy. Of course, nowadays I have different inspirations (like my kids). But Drizzt Do'Urden is definitely in the top 5!

Growing up it was always Star Wars. The "light vs. dark" side of The Force was great. They were great movies and stories growing up. Looking back, there were a lot of great quotes that resonate in my day to day life now. It may sound corny, bur Yoda's quote that you "Do or do not. there is no try," is something that carries a lot of weight.

I want to answer the question but I can't think of one. I can only think of real people. I never think about fiction or fictional character.

If i had to pick one I guess I would go with Optimus Prime.
