Good article. Long ago I learned not to care what anyone else thinks. I am who I am with my strengths and weaknesses. I try and improve my weaknesses and grow as a person. I am far from perfect but just being me makes me happy.

It is a code of ethics in my mind. What can I do to be a good person? That's what it boils down to for me. I'm not one that only looks out for myself. I have been told I'm a nice guy to a fault, never really into things for self-interest, but more to push others to success.

SFC Stephen King May sound really corny,but morals,ethics and values.I do have an odd sense of humor which usually throws people off. My basics are mine and i do not compromise them.

Having a few near death experiences and 2 failed marriages, I had to learn to be happy with myself. So my drive now is life is to short to be unhappy. So I live everyday as it's my last and enjoy family and friends. That would be my drive and will to live the way I do.

What drives me? IDK... I've always been different.....but always been accepted for my individuality. I take things as they come.....and I have this need to always help...try and make things better... Perseverance. Determination. Nurturing. The way I was raised....to be humble...to have humility.... lots of things drive me.

I find myself being the best me when I stand out from the crowd, typically in a good way. How is this? I grew up with the generation of high school pot smokers, but I don't do it. I grew up with talk of boys and girls cheating on their partners, but I always remained faithful. I have grown up in the least religious generation to have walked this earth, yet I retain my faith in the Lord. I still believe in standing for what you believe, and that's a huge part of who I am. I am proud of it, too.

What drives me to be me? It's the pride that I take in being a good person, husband, son, brother and friend. In knowing that I was raised by wonderful, loving parents that showed me how to be a man and an example of how to provide for my family. The satisfaction in knowing that I am always there for those who depend on me.
