I was medically separated before my initial term was up and my terminal leave just ended last month. I'm a little confused because I just got our end of month paycheck and it looks like the regular amount I normally get but I was only technically working from the 15th-20th. I just want to know is this normal or should I be setting some of this pay aside for when they ask for it back.

Also, checking on my LES states that the end of month pay should have been zero with deductions containing a line that said 'STATUS DET' that deducted almost the same amount they gave me for my end of month (give or take 50). What should my last military paycheck look like? 2021-12-02T13:42:43-05:00 SPC Norman Perkins 7401207

Hello, recently separated US Army soldier here. You should look at your LES and break down what makes up what was paid. It's possible you were overpaid but it is also possible there were other factors like sold leave, allotments or back pay. When in doubt I would set pay aside until you sort it out. Response by SSgt Christophe Murphy made Dec 2 at 2021 2:25 PM 2021-12-02T14:25:22-05:00 2021-12-02T14:25:22-05:00 2021-12-02T13:42:43-05:00
