Today, I am a civilian. I am not a fan of the French. I pretty much despise anything France. That being said, I would gladly go and defend those who can NOT defend themselves.
Today, I sit here and all the memories of the Oklahoma bombing, I was teaching soldiers in Ft Huachuca. I wondered that day why would they attack innocents? Why wouldn't they attack Tinker Air Force Base, just a few miles down the road. Those civilians and military personnel volunteered to defend our country. Why would they take innocent casualties.
The rage filled my soul. The fight was in my hands. The feeling of helplessness overwhelmed me.
In 2001, I was teaching USPS employees for the University of Oklahoma. Again, why would they target the innocents? If you want to fight, take the fight to those ready and willing to fight?

Yesterday, yet another coordinated effort. Today? The same damn thoughts. I am a lot older, and a hell of a lot slower, but I am willing to take the fight to those who dare to attack innocent civilians.
Why wouldn't any other red blooded human not have this same thought? I don't know, and I really don't care. Only a very few have the matz to take up arms and defend the masses. When is enough enough?
I do not want to go to war. No warrior wants to fight, but when we are pushed to the limit we are willing. Are we pushed to our limits?
ISIS are bullies who are picking on those smaller than them. They will not bully those bigger than them. When you see a bully bullying someone, WHAT DO YOU DO? Do you turn away and not say a word, or do you intervene for those who are smaller and being bullied?
How is this any different in your soul? We should demand that our leaders stop this, and wipe these bullies off the face of the planet!

One of my Welsh cousins lives in France SGT Robert R. He said he was in the area of the attacks two hours before they occurred. He let us know he was safe via Facebook.
France has a significant Muslim population with immigrants from Algeria, Syria and other former French colonies. Their leaders call a spade a spade unlike our leaders. They publicly condemn islamic terrorists and I am glad they have essentially declared war on ISIS.
ISIS, al-Qaeda and their fellow wahhabi islam inspired terrorists have long been laying plans for attacks in Europe, Asia and the United States. I expect they develop their plans quietly move people and material including weapons where it needs to be; reassess their plans and when the time is right they launch attacks. I suspect the attacks were launched in part as revenge against our strike in Libya and against Jihadi John at their "HQs."
I think the US needs to rethink the concept of bringing in massive numbers of Syrian refugees into this nation. If we allow lots of Syrian refugees into our nation we are going to see attacks similar to what happened in France recently.

My gut feeling is that we need to send our best of the best Special Operations on a mission to kill as many of those savages as they can.Thats what they are .......savages.

Those attacks in France yesterday tells me that those barbarians will not stop there ! They would like to make us their prime target . We here in the United States should be very vigilant , more so now than ever before . The question now is what should we as a nation do ? Do we wait for their first strike here ? Or do we take the fight to them on their soil ?

This is a direct result of pulling out of Iraq too early instead of going for full victory. This is a direct result of diminishing the credibility of America to stand up against Islamic jihadists and failing to call them what they are. France welcomed these terrorists into their country with open arms. They gave them social program after social program to progress in their society. They even have Muslim only areas where a 120-page research paper entitled "No-Go Zones in the French Republic: Myth or Reality?" documented dozens of French neighborhoods "where police and gendarmerie cannot enforce the Republican order or even enter without risking confrontation, projectiles, or even fatal shootings." Europe's no-go zones are the by-product of decades of multicultural policies that have encouraged Muslim immigrants to create parallel societies and remain segregated from — rather than become integrated into — their European host nations. This same thing is now happening in America. There is now a city that is totally controlled by Muslims in Michigan. Why should we feel sorry for France? They brought this on themselves and this Commander-in-Chief is doing the same thing to us now.

Gut says "Trojan horse". Any country who has opened their doors to the refugees from the Middle East has potentially opened a can of dangerous worms.....the low level materials used to cause such destruction is surely reason for local awareness.

Stay alert warriors...it's no longer a matter of "if" its now a matter of when and how.

It's the tip of the ice berg. Strap yourselves in, there's more coming since we've pretty much tied the hands of our military and shrunk it so much it is a hollow shell of what it once was. No one wants to play nice together anymore. And that includes the members of the United Nations. That did not happen overnight. The planned scenarios we built our military around no longer exist. There is no defined "line in the sand." Paris was just a practice run. Now they refine. My gut says I am safest watching the ball drop in a living room somewhere besides Times Square and watching the Super Bowl highlight reel.
