What does it mean if I've attended the promotion board and attained promotable status, but am still on the C10 report?

What is the C10 report exactly, and, would I be recommended for promotion or be placed on the promotion list the next time cutoff happens?

The c10 report is you being told how many promotion points you hold. Have you been to blc?

Ahhh I see, no I haven't been to blc yet. I have been waiting for a slot since may, but won't be able to go now until I get to my next duty station since I begin clearing in October.

Ssg.James Pefley, that’s great advice. Spc. (P) Sims, this is something you want to remember as you become an NCO such as Ssg Pefley, it’s your responsibility to help soldiers rather they are in your section or not. Congratulations on your passing the board.

SPC (Join to see) Make sure you have a copy of your board proceedings, a memo, or any type of document (hint: this is important) before you leave your current unit.
