So here it is without the picture...it's circulating, I'm sure you'll see it soon enough. The Army regulations on boots gives a very thorough description of what the issue boots consist of and what is required in off-the-shelf varieties. If you don't have them with you though, it may be hard to tell which ones are authorized or not. Well, now there is a picture of the unauthorized boots...and they are the ones that everyone has been wearing for the past 8 years. Expect enforcement to begin soon.
