What does an Automated Cargo Detachment do as far as mission?

I recently left Active Duty and signed on with an ACD and I'm trying to make myself smart about what they are and what they do.

SGT Private RallyPoint Member take your CAC card and go to the CASCOM One Stop and look up the ADP and METL for that SRC. Go to FMSWeb and look up the MTOE. That should be more than enough. Dated, old FM 55-60

"Detachment D (Automated Cargo Documentation) (TOE 55-560LD)
This detachment, on a two-shift basis, documents break-bulk or container cargo. It can handle up to four ships in fixed-port operations or two ships in LOTS operations."

Port ops mostly. You'll work a lot with gates icodes and hand scanners.
