What do your childhood pictures say about you?

I came across this picture of myself. I think it's pretty representative of me on any given day during the summer when I was a kid. Having five brothers had a significant impact on me then and still does to this day. We ran around barefoot, we didn't worry about getting dirty, we used bridges, cliffs.... as our diving boards, any body of water was fair game, we rode bareback, took part in target practice, we supported each other, we tortured each other....

CPT Private RallyPoint Member I am looking at a black and white from 1956, I am poking my head out from under a white blanket, with my chin resting on my right tiny fist and my left arm seeming to prop up my large head - smile with no teeth. Must have taken some time to get a month old to "pose" for this :-)

Attached is a picture of my dad and his sister in the 1930's as they posed with a chimp in England and a picture of me with my two younger sisters in the 1960's. You may be able to see the resemblance of my dad and me 30 years or so apart.

Yeah.. I'm kinda' glad we didn't have video games available when I was a teenager. All I can say is they shouldn't let a 17 year old have a piece of rope or a pilot's license.

CPT Private RallyPoint Member I figured I would attach a few pictures. Some of these are floating around on RallyPoint somewhere, but my childhood was pretty much exactly the same. Was raised on a family farm so got the added benefit of daily chores. From picking snap peas (anyone who has done it knows my pain) to cleaning out the chicken coop (I didn't have to be good per say, I just to be better than my brothers since this was reserved as punishment for the worst offenders). I had a Shetland pony when I was about the same age as you in the picture. My grandparents and great grandparents (Dad's side) owned a family nursery/florist shop and my Papaw handmade/sold porcelain dolls at the shop as well.

Picture 1) Having a tea party at my Mamaw and Papaw's house (I was an only child at this time).
Picture 2) Being my normal self with my oldest younger (I am then oldest if that helps to make sense of it) brother. I have five brothers and a sister.
Picture 3) Taken when my Dad was stationed in San Diego. I was born in Texas but a few months after my Dad was stationed in CA, so my family moved there. We moved back to Texas when I was around 2-3 years old.
