We did our mission, provided them the tools required to defend their land and now it is time for them to put that training into effect. Should we monitor the situation, yes but we already put enough skin in that game and don't need to see a repeat. We can't rush in to fix every problem they run into. At some point Iraqis need to stand on their own two legs. If this ultimately means those two legs get chopped off and the video uploaded to the internet, then so be it. I traveled in convoys as wrecker support in my HEMTT. Yes all the work we put into that country to me is being lost and is sad because many men and women lost their lives over there. Veterans and current military members now have issues and are causing them and their families problems. I think that we need to pull everything and everyone out let them have their sand and war as they want. They are going to continue to do what they want to and we should be more concern with what is going on in our own back yard before we go into someone else's back yard. Take care of your own before others. Leave it to the nationals to solve their own problems. It is there country not ours and we are NOT the worlds keeper. Leave it to the U.N. without our involvement. So much for my .02.
