Uhm... Alright, one of my employees has a kid on the way that she is gonna need serious support for because she's single. Let's throw her out.<br /><br />Also, this will solve some form of discrimination by simply throwing out single mothers? What about single fathers? What about someone who has simply taken guardianship over a child by themselves? <br /><br />Not only is this, as you put it Sir, disgusting, it seems counter productive and stupid. In the end, I can't help but simply think, what the hell?Response by PO2 Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 22 at 2015 4:37 PM2015-07-22T16:37:10-04:002015-07-22T16:37:10-04:00TSgt Private RallyPoint Member835524<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>A piece of me wants to believe that employers wouldn't use the bill with this apparent loophole because that's lower than low, but then the rest of me says "of course they would." When it "benefits" a company to rid itself of someone who would possibly require paid maternity leave, or at least time off for appointments and after delivery, why wouldn't they? (Not saying I agree with it, but from the standpoint of a business who sees $$$$.) Absolutely repulsive.Response by TSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 22 at 2015 5:09 PM2015-07-22T17:09:35-04:002015-07-22T17:09:35-04:00SPC George Rudenko835553<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>How about firing the guy that knocked her up?Response by SPC George Rudenko made Jul 22 at 2015 5:23 PM2015-07-22T17:23:47-04:002015-07-22T17:23:47-04:00SSgt Alex Robinson836358<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It may pass the house and senate but it will be vetoed by the president.Response by SSgt Alex Robinson made Jul 22 at 2015 10:53 PM2015-07-22T22:53:40-04:002015-07-22T22:53:40-04:00PO1 William "Chip" Nagel836727<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Sad and Disgusting.
