What do you think of the status of the election at this point?

Don't get me wrong, i do think that how a person treats someone else tells alot about that persons integrity and moral compass. And I also believe that people who know how to work the system - WILL - if that includes making things disappear then so be it.

But please - enough with this stuff surrounding the elections - i want to hear answers to questions like:

1. Will you change/close the tax laws that allow the rich to pay little or no tax?

2. What is your plan for the defense of this nation?

3. What is your plan for increasing the use of solar or alternative energy sources to cut pollution?

4. What is your plan to fix the Veterans Administration? -it needs to be fixed NOW.

5. What is your plan to fix the economy and help the small business owners?

6. What can you do in the next 4 years that will make me vote for you?

If they can't answer these questions in the next debate then shut the mic off. No side stepping - no changing the subject - answer the question or shutup. if you "attack" the other candidate then you are not allowed to answer any more questions.

Plus - make it interesting - have the candidates and running mates on the stage at the same time - but only 1 mic is allowed and they all have to share.

Best yet - make the moderator panel of 5 individuals from the armed forces.

Straight questions - straight answers or turn off the mic and cameras and let us watch cartoons. it has to be better than this stuff.

Disappointing and it's not because of the 2 candidates. I'm disappointed by the large amount of voter apathy I've come across. In my state alone, less than 1/3 of the state actually went out to vote in the general election months ago. Less than 1/3 of an entire state helped 2 individuals who probably wouldn't have made it this far otherwise. The biggest thing I hear is "well I don't like anyone, so I'm not going to bother". My general election wasn't just President, it was for superintendent of schools, new property tax laws, state reps etc. Less than a third was making the decisions for an entire state.

Imagine what the country would look like today if the majority was actually using the power they wield.
