Instead of these people fighting to keep slavery or protect states rights, lets look at them as leaders. Robert E. Lee took the Army of Northern Virginia into northern territory looking for a major win, made Picket's Charge over 1.5miles under heavy artillery barrage (and against Longstreet's recommendation), and lost not only the battle but the war. I believe that Service Members should avoid such discussion in open forum, as their responses can be seen and shared.
