If a person needs some drug (alcohol is a drug) to start their day or make it through the day, they may have several psycho-social problems. They should seek medical help and counseling.Response by Lt Col Jim Coe made Jan 24 at 2021 1:04 PM2021-01-24T13:04:22-05:002021-01-24T13:04:22-05:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member6688634<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I claimed it was for sleep, when I worked nights. Then I found other "reasons" when I went to days, on My days off. Then one day I was sitting on the bed with a .45 in My hand. I haven't had a drink since. Detox is a stone bitch. Group can be embarrassing, but You have to be open with yourself and others for it to work. Go sit in an AA meeting, you don't have to say anything, just sit and listen.Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 24 at 2021 1:59 PM2021-01-24T13:59:10-05:002021-01-24T13:59:10-05:002021-01-24T12:48:55-05:00
