The only reason is big pharmacy and payoffs to politicians. I just got into the VA after 50 years. My own reasons and as I go through the despicable maze I see why I never enrolled. The VA is a federal. not state, institution. That being the case, no Doctor in the VA system will be able to script it to a vet, No doctor in the tricare system will be able to script is as well as tricare is federal. Until such a time as the Federal Government reverses their law regarding this, it is not an option under our current healthcare plans and systems. There are benefits from its use. The are drawbacks to its abuse. LIKE ANY OTHER DRUG. With more usage, better controls/testing on dosages and usage of the drug, that is smoke it, eat it, cook with it, use it as a topical .... etc there will be a better understanding to its benefits and drawbacks. Remember it is not only THC but the CBD that has benefits. When very low THC and high CBD strains are used there is a benefit with out the &quot;high&quot;.<br /> So why not, if it helps, why not.
