What do you think about my idea for the Syrian Refugee's? Should we or should we not put them in some sort of camps to begin with?

First it was one refugee...then it was two refugee's...and now they have confirmed...they...... the French Government....that SIX refugee's that passed over their borders and into France came from SYRIA Refugee group are from ISIS....These Six who passed themselves off as Syrian refugee's...and at least two of them blew up and or shot over 400 people...of which over 200 are dead and another ???God knows how many are wounded and some barely holding on for life....and the others are still at large.

I am half Japanese...born and raised in Japan. I am very much aware of the Japanese refugee camps or endearment camps....or whatever the correct name for the camps were..... DURING WWII.... both here and in Canada. I don't care what you or others say.....and I don't mean to sound mean or disrespectful to you.......all of the refugee's coming over from Syria need to be put into specially made camps...and they need to stay there....for how long? I do not know, but what I do know is there is NO REAL WAY to vet these Refugee's....there is NO way to confirm or deny their back grounds...and I for one do not want these people roaming around the US at free will. I'm all for helping out people in need...even from other countries....BUT I AM MORE FOR MAKING SURE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE...my Family...YOUR FAMILY....our friends....EVERYONE in the US....we need to make sure we are SAFE FIRST!

If these refugee's want to come here and expect us to take care of them...WHICH THEY ARE....they are seeking refuge...meaning THEY HAVE NOTHING but their clothes on their backs and what little belongings they managed to bring with them......THEY ARE WANTING the US to provide for them....and since this is the CASE...THE US SHOULD FIRST PUT THE SAFETY OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ahead of just Willy nilly letting the Refugee's into the country and letting them roam free....like they did in FRANCE>...BECAUSE I FOR ONE am NOT WANTING to go through what the went through in FRANCE.........So the REFUGEES should agree to a process....before we go and let all of these refugee's in....a process needs to be made up...with steps on how to bring them in...how to process them....where to put them up....how long they will stay there and what's needed to vet them....IN MOST SITUATIONS there are many ways to VET someone from another country...BUT in this situation there is NO WAY TO VET these folks....The SYRIAN government wont do it....there jobs...their employers are all GONE....there is NOT ONE WAY TO BE ABLE TO TELL if they are good people or not....so NO....they need to be detained till they can figure out a way to do this....Af least in a refugee camp...they have quarters...place to eat, sleep shower....they' be clothed and FED and taken care of....this will BEAT THE HELL OUT OF being out in the open...sleeping in Tents, or on the ground...with no clean water or food to eat.....THEN......one by one..... can be checked out...and some how, some way Hopefully they'll be vetted and then they can go out into the US and make a life or living for themselves...
They'll all need to sign and agree to this and follow the rules.. If they don't sign and agree, then they don't come into our country and we don't take care of them
If they are truly refugee's and have no where to go and need help, then they should not mind agreeing to this.
They can't and we can't just hand out help just like that...willy nilly say here you go...welcome...come on over! We'll not only take are of you...but we'll do it without vetting you. HA! Yeah, right.
A plan needs to be put together then implemented and it must have checks and balances....and NO IF'S AND'S and BUT's!

I personally think that our borders should be SHUT for all refugees until we can almost 100% ensure their credentials aren't faked/not involved with a terrorist organization, etc.!

What really needs to happen with the refugees from Syria is they should be get close to home. His solution is to be created for the betterment of their homeland so that the refugee crisis can be remedied. None of these people should be brought that far from their homes. The most concerning part of this whole refugee crisis is that the majority of those being relocated are men of working age between the ages of 18 and 35. These men are far more capable of protecting thier country and providing a working solution for the political issues in their country.

I say no to camps because they shouldnt even be headed this way. I understand they are a result of Obama's lack of a backbone when it came to the Red Line, however there is ZERO ways to vet these people and unless the government can ensure us Americans 100% then they shouldnt ever even be headed this direction. Interesting to see how many state governors say Nope...Not in my state.

Unless they are thoroughly vetted there is no way grouping them together in camps makes any sense. It would serve as a hotbed for recruitment against us - the nation that imprisoned them Sgt Kelli Mays.
Putting them into camps could easily turn into what has happened in South Sudan, Darfur, and other areas where multiple refugees from Muslim radicals. It only takes a small gang of terrorists to inflict fear on the population, turn the hearts of many against the location where they are being imprisoned, etc.
There is no way that these "refugees" have been vetted to any serious degree since Syria has little control over its own territory and the "refugee's are streaming form various places. We know that ISIS wants to bring the fight to us, there are sleeper cells here already most likely, and we have millions of illegal aliens in this nation already. Would be terrorists have many areas of the nation to blend into.
Inserting sleeper cells with members who have no criminal records is one tactic ISIS, al Qaeda and other wahhabi doctrine terrorist groups have used for decades. Many of those involved in last weeks assaults in paris had no record yet came from Syrian backgrounds with at least one having a Syrian passport near his body [no word yet on whether it was legitimate]. ISIS confiscates official papers from all of the people it kills or capture and modifying passports is a widespread business.

I don't like the idea of camps. They make it easy for the disaffected folks to group together and foment trouble. America is a huge country. If we are going to accept refugees, we should spread them out in small family groups, with no more than 4 or 5 refugees in one town/location. Non related males need to be separated by hundreds of miles. Then we need to do everything to integrate them into the population (Americanize them) as quickly as possible.

Are you seriously suggesting that we set up concentration camps? That seems like a good idea? I don't think so. It seems like a step down a road that doesn't lead anywhere good. Your idea put in other terms could be said: we should take a certain group of people and lock them away because people are afraid of them. Does that sound like something that should happen in America?

To everyone that is against accepting any refugees. Please consider the story of Jesus himself. A family of middle eastern descent, with a working age father, is seeking refuge and is turned away again and again until they end up in a manger. Taken in by a single, kind, inn owner. Would we, as a country, rather be the people that turned Jesus' family away or the kind people that accepted them?

I acknowledge that there is some risk in accepting refugees. There is some risk in allowing anyone, from any country, to visit or settle in the United States. Are we suggesting that our borders should be completely closed? The Irish had a terrorist organization for a long time. The IRA was certainly dangerous, and exported terrorism to other countries. Should we prevent all Irish from entering the US or settling here? What about Colombians? The FARC still exists there. We wouldn't want any of their revolutionaries here. It seems to me, considering that there are "terrorists" to be found throughout the world, that the State Department is actually doing a pretty good job of vetting immigrants and refugees.

Please remember the Emma Lazarus quote enshrined on our Statue of Liberty: "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free." This country is supposed to be better than we're behaving here. We are the country that should be helping despite fear. Not huddling in it.

Its utterly simple... put them in camps and take good care of them until we done screening them properly. These people are not terrorist but there are undoubtedly terrorist mixed amongst them. Then place them into the hometowns of each politician who agrees with Obama that they should be here... ..this will ensure they are screened properly.
Syria is a mess but maybe they were better off before they attempted to pull an arab summer on Assad. His Darkside only became apparent after the revolt and our democrats supporting is ousting makes me think maybe prior to the revolt there was no cause for a revolt.

CPT L S - ref your comment which begins "un-american and un-christian." There are so many comments under your response I wanted to start over.
As Christians we are called to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.
It does not seem wise to bring lots of people from a former french colony 1/3 of the way around the world to an alien nation.
The 1,854 Syrian refugees who came here through the asylum process [2012-2015] are probably terrified at the idea of many Syrian refugees, some who have an axe to grind, discovering where these relocated people and families live. Most of the people coming with no visible means of support are probably harmless but if even a few are ISIS supporters or Assad government supporters they pose a risk to the relocated Syrians and anybody harboring them.
Christians are called to count the cost. This nation is already burdened by approximately 20,000,000 undocumented illegal aliens who drain local and state resources. These people speak a language that is common in many parts of the nation even if their particular dialect is unique.
The common Syrians generally do not speak English which will put them at a disadvantage. Those who do speak English may well be the ones we need to worry about or more accurately the Syrians who came to this nation via asylum procedures.
