What do you think about civilians with mental health disorders being micro-chipped?

Why and to what do we define as mental disorder? Remember female hysteria use to be an actual medical disorder.

I am very much opposed to this idea. Given the subjective and fluid natures of mental disorders I cannot condone this. It also would seriously violate the right to privacy.

This sounds too much like prepping for another NAZI GERMANY! - monitor and track what the Government considers the "undesirables". And for what purpose?
Would they then micro-chip people with speech impediments? Someone with a limp?
This would be blasting open PANDORA's BOX!!!
This would be a HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE idea!

No. I "chip" my dogs so they can be identified if they are lost. My dogs can't communicate effectively with humans as to their identity, so they need the extra help of a chip. Extending this kind of branding to people starts us down a slippery slope that we should avoid. (Some slaves were branded to they could be identified if they escaped their plantation.) I can easily imagine future Government officials saying, "The chipping of mentally ill people has helped us identify them and ensure they receive proper treatment. It's time to apply this wonderful technology to every person in the US. Think of all the children it will save if they become lost or injured without a parent or care giver available. (They won't say this gives the government the capability to tell where all of us are at any time and to monitor our behavior.)
