I'm not surprised. I think it is behavior that has been occurring for a long time, and people are finally emboldened to lash back out about it. People are learning that they don't have to put up with this type of behavior, and that society is now ready to punish people for it. I just hope our society doesn't overcorrect.

As others here have said as well, that such things occur there is by no means surprising. That place has had an inextricably woven fabric with American society, incl. the military for pretty much a century or longer now, the most obvious example being Pres. Reagan, certainly, which quite clearly worked to the advantage of American society, as did Frank Capra, John Ford, Jimmy Stewart, Sterling Hayden, Eddie Albert, and countless others. That being said, great talent frequently also rums hand in hand with great abuses, unfortunately, and, I'm afraid, most likely, always will. It's clearly unfortunate, however, also, at the same time, I'm afraid, most likely unavoidable, despite present day circumstances, I should think. That's not to say that all major actors are like that, by any means, many have not been, certainly, it's just that the unfortunate notoriety of those who engage in such actions will most likely always overshadow those who don't, I'd expect, just some thoughts, I'd be most eager to hear any from all of you, of course, hope was at least of some interest.

From what I'm hearing, I wonder if this has something to do with why Hollywood is so politically socialist? There are so many abusers in Hollywood, maybe they feel so guilty about all the things they have done that they want the rich to give to the poor. They feel like they should speak out for all people less fortunate because of how they made their wealth.... Either they abused others to get to the top or they abused themselves to get to the top and they feel so guilty about it. Now they want everyone to "get to the top" to make themselves feel better. Its just a thought....... :)
